Wonderful outcome for our clients with a modern house finished in K-rend with a low mounting height and a balcony above. Traditional fixing into the space above the doors was not appropriate so we fabricated two beautifully powder-coated full-length posts, colour matched to the render, concreted into deep footings for stability, then cut the York stones and replaced them. The result is a large, 115kg, remote control awning securely mounted at the at the correct height and pitch. Fitted with a 1.5m front screen via manual crank for maximum sun protection on this sun-trap patio.

Our professional and considerate installation team achieved a finish that doesn’t even show the ground was disturbed with careful removal of the soil that was excavated. The posts are just kissing the render so there was no risk of cracking, puncture/water ingress worries.
